 Earth Day is an annual event celebrated on April 22. Worldwide, various events are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First celebrated in 1970, Earth Day now includes events in more than 193 countries, which are now coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network.

Celebrate Earth Day with CS First  and World Wildlife Fund 

This Earth Day, celebrate the planet while learning to code using CS First's Earth Day activity. Start your students’ coding journey with an activity that inspires them to appreciate the natural world. In just one hour, your students will code their own Google logo featuring their favorite animals, natural landscapes, and green energy sources, all while learning computer science basics.

Anyone – including teachers, parents, librarians, or college students – can facilitate CS First. No computer science experience is necessary.
